i-Web peer preesure

In term 1, as part of our DARE authentic challenge, we completed a i-Web. Together, Me & Danelle decided to chose peer pressure as our main topic. We then chose our main question of How can peer pressure take over your life? Through this project, we found out how peer pressure can pull you down and make you do crazy things. On our i-Web we have a page about ways gto assertively say no! to peer pressure and how to avoid the situation.

Environmental sustainability

This year half of Room 23 has been attending Environmental sustainability with Mrs Nicholson ,the remainder of the class does I.C.T with Mrs Pearson. In Environmental sustainability we have learn' t the life cycle of a plastic cup and what segment of the earth is water, mountains, desert, living space and rivers, lakes and glaciers. We have a lot of fun and will be continuing in the studying of Environmental sustainability in term 2.

We have been learning D.A.R.E with constable Andy and constable Sheree. D.A.R.E stands for

we have been learning D.A.R.E from the start of Term 1. We learn about drugs and how to be assertive against them. We finished D.A.R.E today and we were awarded a certificate and a D.A.R.E t-shirt.

Bob's Bad Choice

“Why do you eat so much Bob?” shouts Mum “I’m hungry” Bob shouts back. “Hey Mum” “yes Bob” “can go to the dairy to by some more pies” “no” “please” “no” “please” “NO” “fine gosh you didn’t need to shout” Bob said.

In the morning at school some bullies came up to Bob and Mike his best friend that always gets into trouble and started pushing him around every day they do that and mike didn’t like it and he said that next time they bully us we should fight them but Bob said ”nah theres no point. Hey after school do you want to get some pies after school” Bob said “yeah okay” Mike replies. Later that day after school at the dairy “Man we should fight them!” Mike said “nah man we’ll get wasted” Bob replies “anyway I’ve got to go home I was supposed to be home two hours ago bye” “bye”.

The next day at school Mike said “man you never do any thing bad” “yes I do” Bob replies angrily “Okay then go beat up that guy over there” “nah I don’t really fell like it” Bob said “well if you cant do that you cant be my friend” “fine what do you want me to do?” “I want you to steel a spray can from the dairy” said Mike “okay” Bob said so when he started to steal heaps of other things he thought it was okay to steal and so kept on stealing until he got caught and was in deep trouble.
